The concept of Post Cycle Therapy is really very essential for you to understand. If you were under the steroidal cycle, it becomes important for your body to undergo a post cycle therapy (PCT).
I personally came to know about the PCT when I was researching on natural hormone secretion by the body.
A post cycle therapy (PCT) refers to the process of making your body come back to normal hormone secretion stage.
If you want to make sure that the steroids that you have taken, works on your body. Or you want the results from the steroidal cycle to last long then you should undergo a PCT cycle.
Personally speaking, I always make sure that I take a post cycle therapy after every steroidal cycle. This makes my body absorb all the nutrients from the food that I take in my diet.

The steroidal cycle alters the level of hormone secretion inside our body. Post the steroidal cycle, our body stops secreting hormones. This is so because, our body was used to of receiving stimulating products.

As I am pretty much regular to my gym schedule. Hence, I also make sure that I take my natural supplements and vitamin supplements regularly along with the strict diet.
I follow my steroidal cycle and alter my diet plan according to the results that I’m getting with that particular steroid.
This makes my body really pumped up and I have a constant supply of energy within my body. This energy makes me proceed with my work out with full force.
Same process is what I follow in a particular cycle of a single steroid usage.
During this process, the steroids alter the level of hormones within the body. Hence, your body will stop the production of hormones with the body as it is getting adequate amount of supply from outside sources.
Once you are over with the steroidal cycle, ideally you would want your body to start producing natural hormones. But this is not the case normally.
This is where comes the importance of a PCT. Post Cycle Therapy. A good PCT will enhance the results from a steroidal cycle and make sure that the body starts producing it;s own hormones as per the regular needs.
This process maintains the balance between the steroidal hormones and post steroidal cycle.
What If PCT Is Not Taken ?
It becomes absolutely necessary for you to follow up your steroidal cycle with the PCT.
This will be really helpful for your overall body functionality.
Else, you might face some of these issues, if not all.
- If PCT is not taken. Or if it is not followed properly. Then you might lose all the gains.
- All the hard work that you have put in for such a long time might not last for so long.
- You might feel less exited about working out because of lack of hormones.
- You might also have issues with blood pressure.
- Low libido could also be a possibility.
Best Post Cycle Therapy
In this section I will be talking about the process that I followed for my own post cycle therapy schedule.
Rebirth PCT
My personal choice was Rebirth PCT. There are number of reasons behind the same.
Below are some of the pointers that were actually true during my PCT cycle.
- Anti Estrogen in nature. This is estrogen blocker. Hence, there will be no hindrance done by them during the normal process of hormone secretion. Also, it prevents normal Estrogen receptor to bind with hormones as a result hormones are not wasted.
- Increases Strength as well. The process of testosterone blockage is stopped. As a result your strength levels are not only maintained, but they actually rise with the consumption of Rebirth.
- Promotes Lean Muscle Mass Gain. The strength and lean muscle mass that was developed due to the steroidal cycle is not only preserved but also increased due to the PCT consumption.
Nolvadex For PCT
Nolvadex is another substance which is famous for its PCT results. This is so because, it also enhances some of the steroidal cycle effects.
The one thing that people miss because of their lack of research is that Nolvadex is a selective estrogen receptor modulator SERM.
As a result, this substance also alters the natural process of hormone creation. This will again make your body stop producing natural hormones.
Hence, the total purpose of a PCT is defeated.
Still, there are some people who might recommend you this one. Personally I have not tried or planning to try. Same goes with the recommendation as well. I will never recommend this product either.

Clomid For PCT
Clomid was initially used for the treatment for the infertility in women. The process of working of Clomid is also the same as Nolvadex.
It stimulates the body to secrete hormones to support the growth provided by the steroidal cycle.
Another impact that Clomid has on the hormones of our body. It breaks estrogen’s interaction with the pituitary gland.
This in turn saves hormones which could have been wasted when they bind with estrogen.
With these benefits, there are certain side effects that are involved with Clomid.

- Vision Problem
- Mood Swings
- Headache
- Nausea
- Blood In Stool
Due to all these reasons, I myself have never taken even 1 dose of Clomid.
Rather I always prefer rebirth pct, since it has given me proper results and provided my body with all the easiness that it requires in the PCT.
